Can a Trademark Be Denied Entry to TROIS?

Yes, the Federal Customs Service may refuse to include a trademark in TROIS if:
The applicant incorrectly filled out the application or provided inaccurate information;
The trademark is not registered, or the applicant failed to prove ownership;
The applicant did not submit a complete set of documents;
The applicant did not provide additional information requested by the FCS.

How Long Is a Trademark Included in TROIS?

The period for which the applicant wishes to include the trademark in TROIS is specified in the application. However, it cannot exceed the duration of the exclusive right to the trademark or three years from the moment of inclusion in TROIS.
